Privacy policy for parents and children

Domaroo is a reading game for children aged 4 to 8. This policy covers the Android app and this website. It was last changed on 27 September 2026.

The app collects no personal data

• There is no account, no sign-in and no profile. We never ask for a name, an e-mail address, an age or a photo.
• There are no adverts, no analytics and no tracking tools in the app.
• The app does not use the location, the camera, the microphone or the contacts.
• Progress (which words are known, the map position, the streak) is stored only on the device.

What the app sends to our server

To download word packs and new versions, the app asks our server for:

• the list of published packs and a pack's words;
• the unlock codes typed in the settings, so that a bought pack can be downloaded;
• the recording of a word it does not have yet;
• the newest version number.

None of these requests contains anything that identifies a child or a family. Our server does not store addresses or device identifiers. To stop codes being guessed, the address a request came from is kept in memory for 15 minutes and then forgotten.

What a parent can send

Behind the grown-up check in the settings, a parent can share a progress report or save a progress file, for example to Google Drive. The app never sends these by itself; the parent chooses where they go.

Buying word packs

Packs are bought on this website, never inside the app. Payment is handled by Stripe, which receives the details you enter on its payment page. We receive from Stripe only whether the payment succeeded, the amount and the theme bought, and we issue an individual unlock code for that purchase.

Children

Domaroo is designed for children and follows the Google Play Families policy. Settings, links out of the app and purchases sit behind a check that young children cannot pass.
